The Wedding
Geertje and I got married this summer! Photos are here.
When
We were married on Sunday 21 August 2005.
Where
Both the ceremony and reception took place at the Albright Hussey hotel in Shropshire, after we both fell in love with the tranquil historic setting and the black swans in the grounds.
Who
Obviously Geertje and I are the ones getting married, but as with any wedding there will be a huge supporting cast, including:
- Bert Cremer and Annemieke Wigmore, parents of the bride.
- George and Sula Baugh, parents of the groom.
- Steve Broadbent, best man.
- Katja Broadbent, matron of honour.
- Elisabeth Bruinja, bridesmaid.
- Lydia Baugh, usher.
- Alison Healey, registrar - who went to ante-natal classes with my mother and therefore has known me literally all my life.
- Jayne Steventon, our point of contact at the hotel.
