Serre Chevalier 2004
Photos taken on a skiing trip to Serre Chevalier in February 2004, using a disposable camera. I spent most of the trip using snowblades, which are excellent.

Check out this badass heel-grab! This was done off my favourite jump, it had a good approach, a nice sharp lip and I could get a decent height for pulling some easy but cool-looking tricks.

Even easy runs back to the valley can have some jump potential: here I've come off a lip at the side of the piste

More fun in the snowboard park

The only picture you will ever find of me on a snowboard. After two hours during which I managed to link a few meandering turns on the infants' slope, nearly got concussion, bruised my coccyx and bent my wrist in an entirely unnatural direction I went back to the hire shop and begged for my snowblades back!
This photo was taken by a professional who was prowling the pistes. He used an EOS-5 but I didn't see what lens was attached.

Me and my equipment. The snowblades are Salomon ones, hired from the helpful people at Sport 2000 in Chantemerle; the peaks behind me are Pic de l'Yret and La Cucumelle
